Please see me if your child is interested in attending camp or if you are interested in being a chaperone. I would love to see every age group represented from Bethany this year! See me with any questions.
Also, I am planning a “Camp Sunday” (late March) and would love to hear from anyone who has had a positive camp experience. Anyone interested in helping me plan this event, please see me or email dlr516@yahoo.com. Thank you! Donna Roth
I challenged the students of Bethany to come up with a name for the youth group. I offered a prize of a gift card. And after a month of searching, the students submitted lists of names to Jaclyn and me. After a lot of research and even more prayer we have chosen what fits the vision of our group.
I want to introduce everyone to “The 412 Student Ministries.” The 412 is the student ministry of Bethany United Methodist Church, and we live to be an example in Speech, Life, Love, Faith, and Purity. The 412 is in reference to 1 Timothy 4:12 which says “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Many times in the Bible God changed people’s names. Abraham’s name was changed from Abram, Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, and God changed Paul’s name from Saul. God gave them new names and then changed the course of their lives. So we as a youth group want to follow this great tradition of changing names, and letting God change the course of our lives.
Please continue to pray for us as a group as we embark on the new course God has set before us.
